Dear Salina Planning Board Member,
My name is _____________ and I live at_________________________.
I am concerned about the construction of a Wal-Mart Supercenter at
Route 57 and Liverpool Bypass in the Town of Salina.
I feel that the negative impact this project would have on the
surrounding community would prove detrimental to the quality of life in
the greater Liverpool area. A Wal-Mart Supercenter at this location
would greatly increase traffic and noise to the communities of Johnson
Tract, Donwood, Bayberry, Salina, Galeville and the village of
Liverpool.
I am not opposed to economic development, but a project of this
magnitude would overwhelm our streets with traffic and change the
complexion of our neighborhoods forever. I am asking the Salina
Planning Board to consider the impact of this project very carefully
and seriously. When the time comes, please say “No” to Wal-Mart
at the proposed location.
